Merrilyn Beros

Director

Merrilyn has been involved directly in the family businesses since the 1970’s both operationally and at the Board level. Merrilyn is the heart and soul of Hospitality and has been involved for five decades in its day- to-day operations and policy.

She is also a director of about 30 other companies including Ace Cinemas Pty Ltd.

She is semi-retired and focusses mainly on strategic items these days in her Board role.

Jayson Mehnert

Director, Financial Controller and Group General Manager.

Jayson Mehnert has been with the Pye family and Hospitality Group for well over a decade and is a Chartered Accountant and very experienced Hospitality Industry administrator who has performed a number of roles over time but is now both the Financial Controller and Group General Manager.

Jayson is a very talented man both with figures and business strategies and he has developed and improved the Groups operating systems.

He has had experience at the coal-face acting as the site manager at our hotels, when we have been in between site managers or short staffed which happens occasionally when one runs regional hospitality businesses in Western Australia. He had a varied experience with public companies in the finance space and EYs as a young accountant.

Jayson provides strong leadership in the accounts and operational teams for Hospitality and provides a very helpful balance to the Board given he is not a shareholder.
